Samples of Our Work

Timeless Recipes

We wanted this to feel like a memory; a vignette that could have happened at any Cattleman’s location. We hung a diffusion silk outside the main window so that it would both soften the light on our actor’s faces and whiten the exterior, giving it a slightly dreamy visual style. The handheld camera work and people crossing in front of the camera were meant to make the viewer feel like they were there, observing this moment of warmth between generations.

The Twilight Loan

We used the recognizable format of the “Twilight Zone” intro to ask viewers to imagine a world where their needs are considered and goals are met!

This spot required no shooting, only a voiceover recording and editing together of different assets.

Car Loan

Class Act takes care of families and we wanted to demonstrate that. We paralleled the vehicle purchased by the family with the toy car their son was playing with.

Doo Wop Shop

With the wide variety of services offered by the rental shop, we wanted to make the ad feel just as eclectic. Fast cuts and bold camera moves helped us match the energy of the location.

Date Night

We really allowed FEIT Electric’s exterior lights to shine, embracing the boldness of their color palette.

Meeting The Need

KBC provided us with several real-life stories from people whose lives have been saved by blood transfusions. We took those stories and developed a script that was general enough to be digestible in a short video but specific enough to feel personal. We shot the testimonials in the Hatfield Media Video Studio, using a 6x6 diffusion silk just above the subjects head to achieve a soft, but directional light on their face. A smaller source filled in the shadows a bit and can be seen reflected in the subject’s eyes, drawing the viewer in.

Moments

After the success of the previous spot, KBC came back to us for another video. We landed on an intimate vignette of a young mother in need of a transfusion—loosely inspired by the director’s own experience. Shot in a mock maternity ward, the space gave us room to light and move the camera freely. Most of it was captured on a jib to mirror the urgency of the scene. We shot the wide twice with different lighting setups to create a seamless cross-fade from night to morning—using color to contrast the tension before the transfusion with the warmth and renewal that follows. By chance, a new donation center was opening nearby, giving us the perfect final shot with updated branding.

Nature's Landscape Supply

We needed to showcase what Nature’s Landscape Supply provided, but in an organic, cinematic way. We shot as many vignettes as possible to make sure anyone viewing the commercial would not only get a sense of what they did, but also how focused on customer support they are. We used filters and camera movement to make the commercial as interesting as possible.

Standoff

Lighting and sound design were key in recreating the feel of a classic western standoff. The aesthetic of the Cattleman’s Roadhouse location already lent itself to the genre, so we just had to augment the frame with dramatic sunlight (Aputure 600d) and moody internal lighting.
