A LOVING CHOICE
ALC Pregnancy Resource Center, located in Shelbyville, Kentucky, encourages and equips women to make educated decisions about their pregnancy. The non-profit organization’s goal is for each woman to make her own decisions after she has received education applicable to her situation. The center is open to anyone and offers services like pregnancy testing, confidential counseling, post-abortion support, parenting classes and much more free of charge. ALC hopes to meet not only the physical and practical needs of unplanned pregnancy, but also give spiritual, moral and emotional guidance through the turmoil of the situation.
“Many women come in here terrified of the situation that they’re in,” said Diana Cahill, Executive Director, ALC Pregnancy Resource Center. “They’re truly in crisis and they just need someone to love, to care for them, and to show them that there’s hope in what feels like a hopeless situation.”
TELLING STORIES THAT MAKE AN IMPACT
Personal impact stories can be difficult to capture for both those participating in pregnancy support programs, as well as the viewer. While this is an extremely personal topic, Hatfield Media rejoices at the mission and vision currently being brought to Shelbyville Kentucky!
