National Alliance for Public Charter Schools – Live Webcast

Hatfield Media Event Production, News

The National Alliance for Public Charter Schools held an Education Summit in Louisville on Thursday, August 22, 2013, at the Muhammad Ali Center to discuss the benefits of public charter schools – a passionate topic that has grown from a grassroots effort into a national dialog. Kentucky Senators Paul Rand and Mitch McConnell were featured panelists, along with other national proponents, education advocates, local parents and students who shared with attendees why the State should pass legislation allowing charter schools in Kentucky. Forty two states currently allow charter schools; Kentucky is one of eight where charter schools are not allowed. Efforts to pass charter school legislation have escalated in recent years, but have fallen short of the necessary support in the Kentucky General Assembly. A limited bill passed the State Senate in March, 2013, but failed in the House.

Hatfield Media was selected by NAPCS to provide the live webcast for the August 22 Education Summit, which was watched in real time online and via mobile phone by viewers throughout the country.

If you’re looking for a way to extend your audience reach, distribute timely information or hold a meeting with out-of-town attendees, then consider live online broadcasting with Hatfield Media. We offer a turn-key of live event services from webcasts to fully immersive virtual events.

Live webcasts are a great way to communicate with clients, employees, colleagues and students. The ability to share a real-time message helps you turn a customer into a client, a viewer into a visitor and an observer into a participant.

Just as online video has become a standard feature of websites, live webcasts are quickly becoming essential tools for marketing and meeting communications. And as the increase in live webcasting is driving the demand for it, offering it now is critical to your company and organization’s ability to keep stakeholders engaged and maintain relevant in media communications.

The growing competition for market share is another great reason to offer web broadcasting. With live webcasts, you own, control and distribute your content. You can reach anyone with a computer or mobile device remotely and dramatically widen access to your information and events. The immediacy is an efficient way for viewers to receive information at the same time and ensure consistency in content delivery.

Webcasts are also a great ROI. Companies of all sizes use webcasts for training classes, product announcements, employee meetings and conferences. For employees, customers or attendees spread geographically, streaming events allows you to reach wider audiences with your message cost-effectively with the option to engage your audience prior, during and after your event. While traditional events can become cost prohibitive with travel, lodging, rentals and other fees, the cost of internet broadcasts is substantially less.

Webcasts are environmentally friendly. For companies and organizations conscientious about their carbon footprint, webcasts allow you to reduce your and your attendees’ environmental impact and conserve resources.

Zeochem – Industrial Video

Hatfield Media News, Video Production

Zeochem is one of the world’s oldest chemical manufacturing companies.

This past Fall we had the pleasure of working with Erika Eichenberger of Viewfinder Films.  She is a film producer from Zürich Switzerland, and the lead visual storyteller and director for the Zeochem film.  Hatfield Media was tasked with filming footage of the Louisville-based plant including shots of the entire manufacturing process and micro-photography. Zeochem is based in Switzerland with manufacturing operations in Louisville Kentucky.

With more than 190 years of manufacturing experience in the production of high-performance products, Zeochem offers a wide range of molecular sieves (zeolites) and chromatography gels. Such gels are used to purify oxygen in medical devices for people that need breathing assistance, rid odor from plastics, and help purify natural gas products.

In recent years Zeochem’s research and development has been at the leading edge of molecular sieve technology by developing an ultra-stable molecular sieve able to withstand thousands of thermal regenerations with delayed decay and exceptional capacity retention. Such efforts have been rewarded in recent years with numerous patents on zeolite manufacture and applications.  Zeochem employs technical service engineers and scientists who have years of experience in adsorber design, operation and maintenance. From the beginning of each project, Zeochem’s technical service engineers can provide conceptual advice and design support.

Zoeller Pumps

Industrial Business Videos

Hatfield Media News

[sws_pullquote_left] We love working with local, regional and national businesses! [/sws_pullquote_left] As a video production company we take on projects in a variety of fields.  From business highlight videos to product promotion series, we are challenged on a regular basis to communicate the message and desired feeling for each company.  Video has the unique ability to demonstrate concepts and content through both audio and visual mediums.  In the past year we have worked with companies such as Lantech, Sypris, Zoeller Pump Company, and Dant Edge to produce videos featuring new products and technologies.  Below are a few highlights from recent projects..

Lantech is the world leader in stretch wrapping technology. In our video we produced for Lantech, the floor-loaded conveyor and pallet truck ramp system is a unique development for the L Series automatic stretch wrappers. The new system is designed especially for single or dual pallet trucks. This ramp creates a hole free, lift free wrapping system where one can easily drop off the pallet load onto the ramp and watch their important containers get wrapped with ease. Additionally the system is modular so that companies can maximize their productivity.

Sypris has been in operation since 1927. As the oldest American manufacturer of forged seamless pipe elbows and returns, over the years Sypris has transitioned their product range and expanded our production capabilities to keep pace with the changing requirements of the industries they serve. The video we created shows their manufacturing process as well as some of the products that they put into the market.

Zoeller Pump Company is the world’s leading pump company. Zoeller is the oldest independently owned U.S. pump manufacturer, continues to maintain the highest of quality standards, setting the benchmark for all other manufacturers of pumps. They have a long history of creating the most reliable and long-lasting pumps in the industry. This introductory video highlights a few key aspects of the way they do business.

Dant Edge is a division of Dant Clayton, one of the world’s leaders in custom stadium seating systems and bleachers. Dant has been making bleachers for over 34 years and is considered by the industry to be the benchmark. Dant’s facilities consist of 350,000 square feet of production space, spanning 25 acres. Two state-of-the-art production plants process millions of pounds of steel and aluminum each year, with team members working hundreds of thousands of hours, ensuring on-time production.

We take pride in producing consistent, high quality videos that effectively communicate a message or product. Our goal is not to sell to your clients, but rather to provide an excellent introduction which facilitates further discussion.

Tube Turns is an American based manufacturer of forged seamless pipe closures.

Hatfield Media was recently contracted by Tube Turns (a division of Sypris Technologies) to produce an overview video of the company. Their strength lies in solid research and development, excellent customer support and robust closurers built to last! The video was developed by Hatfield Media, Monica Brown and Ryan Fellows

Vox Amps – Mom’s Music Workshop

Hatfield Media News

Vox Amps – A brief amp/pedal walkthrough

Vox was established back in 1957 and is one of the most respected brands in amps today.  Freddy Demarco (world class touring musician and equipment specialist) dropped by Mom’s Music here in Louisville Kentucky in order to demonstrate Vox’s current lineup of amplifiers and pedals.  We sat in on a customer workshop and produced a small highlight segment from the session.  Thank you to Freddy DeMarco, Steve Wicks and Brian Piccolo for stopping by the shop and showcasing some of Vox’s latest offerings.

By way of personal bias, we are completely in love with the Bruno dark switch…
